A few things to note:
The arch that Jackie and I stood under has special meaning — It was built by me with the help of my father, brother, and brother in law out of drift wood that we found on the beach nearby.
It was Kenny’s idea to hang the dress from the arch — one of the best suggestions he’s ever had. We also got lucky b/c a screw that wouldn’t completely screw into the wood was used to hang the dress. Without that screw the shot would not have worked!
We wrote our own vows which had more meaning to us than the traditional Catholic vows.
I had to write mine on an envelope b/c it was the only piece of paper I had at the time. However, we kept the envelope and will forever be a reminder of our day.
My brother gave me a pair of camera cufflinks as a gift — very fitting given what I do!
Having a photobooth is probably the best advice I can give a couple regarding their reception. Whatever the cost – DO IT!
