Calling all entrepreneurs, dreamers, hustlers, and adventurers. Heads up ok, because today’s post is speaking directly. to. you.

Running your own business. There’s nothing else quite like it. It can be exhilarating and exciting, yet exhausting in so many ways, and all at the same time. Your business is your baby. You dreamed it, conceived it, and birthed it. It’s the thing you can’t shake. It’s always on the brain. It sometimes keeps you up, wakes you up, can make you crazy and make you cry. It provides you with freedom to live your life on your own terms, endless perspective, and makes you feel so incredibly full because if you can earn a living by spending your days (and some nights) doing what you feel you were put on this earth to do, you’ll never work a day in your life. While this is all certainly satisfying, it does take an incredible amount of time, dedication, and energy. This is why I know without a shadow of a doubt, that you need, and deserve a vacation. And I know what you’re thinking. A vacation? I’m an entrepreneur.  I run my own business. We just covered this. So I don’t have time for a vacation. I barely have time to pee during the day!  I hear you. And samesies. But stay with me because this is a different kind of vacation. This is a vacation you can justify, not feel the least bit guilty about, and possibly even write off come tax time. I’m talking about a Working Vacation. I’m referring to The River Gathering, a 4-day inspired working vacation for women entrepreneurs, dreamers, hustlers, and adventurers. This vacation like no other is taking place September 23rd – 26th at the magical Surf Hotel in Buena Vista, Colorado.

Imagine this…

Your mornings begin with your choice of yoga or meditation – your backdrop, the Arkansas River and the Rocky Mountains. Now your relaxed, you’ve set your intentions for the day and you’re ready for your hands-on workshop at the stunning new Surf Hotel where you’ll work on YOUR businesses. Yes, you, your needs, your wellbeing, and the health of your business will be the focus during these 4 essential days. We’ll work with you on creating solid branding and marketing strategies specific to your business goals.  The afternoons will be spent hiking, biking, kayaking, hot springing or hammocking. In the evenings we’ll gather around a campfire or dinner table, we’ll eat well, drink well, and we’ll talk about strengthening our businesses. We’ll make lifelong connections with other women who get it.

You guys, I am over-the-moon and beyond thankful to have the opportunity to partner with Maggie Gentry on this event. Maggie is the mastermind behind the brilliant and oh-so-successful Own Your Why workshops. She is wicked smart and has a killer reputation for streamlining businesses and giving weary entrepreneurs more time back in their day. She is also incredibly kind and possesses an unmatched genuine and magnetic spirit. Trust me when I tell you, you want to cross paths with Maggie.
