This past weekend I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing a delicious treatment at Vert Beauty. You guys…this place. It’s a gorgeous beauty boutique specializing in organic, safe for your skin products, and makeup application. If Anthropologie owned a beauty boutique this is exactly what it would look like. And just like Anthro, you’ll never want to leave! Amanda Hume, mastermind behind this organic beauty haven, has spent more than a decade as a cosmetologist and makeup artist and has done hands-on, endless research on the best product lines for face, hair, and body. Her passion for natural and organic products was born during her time with large cosmetic companies and then noticing many products she was using contained chemicals she could not identify. This was enough to inspire her to go out on her own and find a way to bring better self-care options to her clients. Amanda now uses products like Tata Harper, Kahina Giving Beauty, and Dr. Hauschka, and stocks her shelves with these quality products and more. From the second you enter this gorgeous space you feel at peace and just know when you leave you are on your way to having the skin you’ve always dreamed of.
Make your own custom fragrances for a little as $25. I absolutely love this unique feature at Vert and think it’s such a great personal and custom favor for brides and bridesmaids. How cool would it be to have a signature wedding scent!
If you live in the Denver area you must have your makeup done here. This very lucky girl had her makeup done by the lovely Ms. Rhea Horvath. Rhea is so fantastic and so uber talented. When you get your makeup done at Vert Beauty you can expect an incredibly custom experience. This is not just playing around with makeup, it’s a skin analysis to help you determine what products you should be using for your specific skin type. The skin is cleansed with a Clarisonic Face Brush and then pampered with a glowing mask leaving you with an ideal canvas for your color. Rhea was able to educate me on what I’m doing right, and help me determine which healthy, safe products, and methods I need to adopt into my routine. Vert Beauty is also a must for brides and their bridal party. Wedding parties can book a private event at the boutique to have their makeup done, or Vert’s talented team can go on location to your event. Meet Rhea Horvath – she’s the sweet soul who did my makeup and answered my bajillion and one questions. Rhea is absolutely positively the best makeup artist I’ve ever been to. Hands down. And you should know that I’ve been to many. She listened carefully, advised discernibly, and then gave me the most beautiful flawlessly dewy skin and va-va-voom smokey eye. Which were both very appropriate for a bachelorette party I was headed to after my appointment! She even used this awesome-sauce gadget on me called an Opal. And now I know exactly what I’m asking my hubby for on my birthday. If you are ever in Denver make an appointment with Rhea!
