Klyde Warren Park Opens in Dallas and Offers Couples a New Urban Green Space To Host an Outdoor Wedding

The heart of Dallas now embodies the home of a beautiful urban green retreat, Klyde Warren Park.  Klyde Warren Park (or KWP to keep it short and local) is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.  The park welcomes visitors near and far and offers them a relaxing place to unwind and rejuvenate.  And if relaxing isn’t your thing, the park also offers a plethora of outdoor activities, games area, walking trail, children’s park and in 2013 Chef John Coleman will open his very own restaurant.  (Ps. Chef Coleman has an impressive 23-year career with Ritz-Carlton)  AND because the new park is considered the heart-beat of the city, it certainly makes a killer location for events of all sizes…including of course WEDDINGS!  Brides in search of an outdoor Dallas wedding venue should definitely consider Klyde Warren Park.   For couples who not wanting to chance Texas weather on their big day should head over to the park for your urban oasis engagement sessions and/or bridal portraits.  You can shop some of Dallas’ finest wedding photographers in our Bridal Guide…

The park’s perfectly landscaped au naturel setting, surrounded by the city’s best art museums and cuisine, topped-off with easy-breezy downtown convenience (hotels galore at every price point – your guests will love you) is a winning recipe my friends and truly what makes this park an ideal location for weddings.

Klyde Warren Park offers many different areas within the park to host your event or wedding.  The Grand Plaza is a great paved area that would be nice for seated dinners and signature cocktail receptions.  Large weddings of 500-1000 guests can host their ceremony on the Great Lawn and/or Muse Family Performance Pavilion.  Mid-sized weddings of 250-500 guests can be held in the East Lawn or a section of the Great Lawn.  For smaller intimate weddings of 50-200 people, The East Lawn or Grand Plaza would make a nice fit.  The fountains can also be turned off the make this entire area usable.  However we strongly oppose this idea as fountains make an incredible backdrop in wedding photos.   The Muse Family Performance Pavilion will truly make the bride feel center stage on her monumental day.
