I’ll admit, olive green isn’t the first color that comes to mind when dreaming of weddings. Don’t get me wrong, I adore my olive green cargo pants. And I’m certainly a fan of olives and olive oil (these both go well with my first loves, wine and cheese), but the idea of using olive green as a wedding color was not on the forefront. However, I have most certainly changed my mind after seeing how olive greens and golds were incorporated into these stunning weddings featured below. I love the unexpected and nontraditional element this color offers. I also love that olive can feel au’natural and organic on it’s own, but takes on the most elegant form when matched with gold. The decor options are endless, especially when it comes to centerpieces. Consider using colorful olives and olive branches as table centerpieces, olive sprigs in place of ribbon, and olive oil as wedding favors.
