03 Mar Chicago Art Deco Styled Wedding
Modern, eclectic and minimal are the three words that I feel best describe today’s wedding feature. Three more words, I’m love’in it. This Chicago Art Deco Styled Wedding features two Art Deco buildings by the shore of Lake Michigan: the Madonna della Strada Chapel at Loyola University and The Powhatan Apartments. Both lend so much richness and texture to this photo shoot. This thoughtfully designed event captured by Lisa Beth Anderson of Spark + Tumble Photography features not one, but two stunning gowns both designed by Kpoene’ Kofi-Bruce of Mignonette; one boasts silver hand-beaded floral straps, while the other she created from 200-year-old Battenburg lace. Both are simply jaw-dropping. The chosen black and white palette works beautifully with the naturally lit ballroom, as well as the mixture of vintage place-settings, deco vases, and cake stands.
