02 Sep A University of South Tennessee Wedding by Cortney Smith Photography
Catherine and Jason met over karaoke at the local campus bar….she sang and danced as he asked all his friends “who is this girl?” Her song choice…”Working 9 to 5″. If this wasn’t enough to capture my heart, this beautiful ceremony at the All Saints Chapel, followed by a their over-the-top reception at the Sewanee Inn certainly did the trick. This sweet bride and groom, both graduates of the University of the South, hosted a stunning southern affair for their family and friends who traveled in from Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Cortney Smith Photography captured this special day located on a little mountain called Sewanee in the southeast part of Tennessee this campus is covered in gorgeous stone and greenery. All Saints Chapel is one of the most beautiful locations for weddings in the South and a number one favorite among University of the South alumni. Their reception was unforgettable with the Atlanta Showstoppers band who kept the crowd dancing all night long. During the party the bride did a quick change out of her gorgeous gown into a short sequin dress and then delivered a familiar serenade to her groom that topped off the night…”Working 9 to 5″! Pretty cute huh?
