“Brittany never imagined herself getting married, until one day she was introduced to Daniel by her Maid of Honor. She fell head over heels” – says Stephanie A. Smith, incredible artist and wedding photographer extraordinaire.  You guys, this wedding makes my heart sing.  I think it’s the perfect real wedding feature for today’s love-struck heart shaped holiday.  I absolutely adore this charming chapel on the Halifax Estate.  The rustic warm wood interiors give this estate such a cozy and inviting vibe.  I’m going to do my best not to gush and gush over this glamorous bride and her dreamy lacey gown, but just trust me when I say you will want to peruse this real wedding feature in it’s entirety. SB: When and where did you get married?
BB: November 10, 2013 at the Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange

SB: Did you have a specific color palate?
BB: We did not have a color palate, we just wanted it to feel warm and romantic. All the center pieces were just tons of candles. We wanted there to be a sea of candle light when people walked in the room.

SB: How did you decide on your style and where did you draw inspiration from?
BB: We wanted everything to be classic and vintage, nothing trendy. We googled allot of images and just pulled things we didn’t like to get to what we loved and wanted- sometimes the best way to figure out what you want your day to look like is to figure out what you DON’T want it to look like.

SB: Where did you get your dreamy gown? Can you describe it for us?
BB: Aurora Bridal in Melbourne, FL. I wanted my dress to match the style of the venue and our “feel” for the wedding. I felt the dress was very romantic and vintage. It was very conservative in the front, coming up to my collar bone but was open down my back for a bit of a sexy feel.

SB: What about your bridesmaids dresses? What did you like best about them?
BB: The bridesmaid dresses were Calvin Klein. I found them at Lord & Taylor. They were part jersey part slinky and tied at the waste. I had bridesmaids with all different body types and wanted everyone to be comfortable. I even bought one for myself and wore it to a friends wedding a few weeks later.

SB: Tell us about your mister –  what do you love best about him?
BB: He is so kind thoughtful and sweet. He is always thinking about others and putting himself last. And it doesn’t hurt how handsome he is 😉

SB: What special traditions did you incorporate?
BB: I was married with my grandmothers wedding band which all the woman in my family have been married in – 5 of us! Also, my grandfather passed away about 2 months before we got married so we started a new tradition and the chupa we got married under was made out of my grandfathers Tallis.

SB: What was your favorite moment of the day?
BB: I loved cutting the cake with my new husband. It was made by Michael Anthony Cakes, from Lake Mary, FL and it was one of our favorite things from the wedding. He nailed exactly what we wanted and made the cake topper work perfectly!  Also, not seeing my groom until we walked down the isle. A lot of times people see each other before and take pictures before the ceremony to save time, but I am so glad we waited until walking down the aisle. It really was one of the best decisions we made. It just felt so special and it really felt like we were starting our lives together.

SB: Any advise for our soon-to-be brides? Is there anything you’d do differently if you could do it again?
BB: There really isn’t anything I would do differently. We had a great team of people and they made everything work out exactly as we imagined it. If I could do it all over again I would do it exactly the same. It just went by too fast! People say how fast it goes and they are not kidding!!

SB: What are three words that sum up the day?
BB: BEST DAY EVER!
