A Celtic Affair

A Celtic Affair

Skip the leprechauns and rainbows, but keep that ole’ Scottish heritage. Jessica and Abram went back to the groom’s Scottish roots and decided to celebrate their wedding with a Celtic feel and a theme of St. Patrick’s Day! The couple tied the knot at Mercury Hall in the heart of Austin with the help of their wedding coordinator Athena Nascimiento of Lucky 13. Incorporating shabby chic, vintage flair and a bit of their mixed Scottish and Mexican-American heritages, they put together a memorable wedding that we just love! Abram and the groomsmen wore kilts that were found at Things Celtic and Jessica’s dress had a Latin-vintage feel and was by La Sposa and purchased at Alexia Gavela Bridal. To bring out the natural beauty of the venue, they incorporated natural tones of ivory, brown and green. The delectable cakes were made by Blue Note Bakery, and one was based on a piece of Mexican folk art. By using small businesses and great local vendors, the couple kept to their budget and made their incredible vision come to life!
