“A Bride for All Seasons” Soiree

“A Bride for All Seasons” Soiree

If you weren’t able to make it to “A Bride for All Seasons” soiree downtown at the Magnolia Hotel last Thursday night here is what you missed.  TWPS brought together its beloved members and brides for a fun night of mingling, dancing to live music, and nibbling on hors d’oeuvres.

When brides arrived at the Magnolia Hotel they headed upstairs to an intimate cocktail party in the Atrium Club.  Here brides-to-be mingled with incredible wedding industry professionals like Bludoor Studio and The Event Messenger while grooving to tunes by Simply Music. On display were gorgeous gowns from The White Gown Showroom, Patsy’s Bridal Boutique and de ma fille bridal boutique.  Many brides struck-a-pose for Sam with Beaux Arts Photography for the  Texas Wedding Guide’s cover model contest.   Brides also entered in a honeymoon giveaway provided by Sanders Travel– a 3 night honeymoon stay at the luxury Capella resort of their choice!  Lucky bride-to-be, Mimi, won the honeymoon contest…take us with you!

Brides then headed over to The Pegasus Grand Ballroom where the party continued. Even the skeptical fiances had a good time. But, how could you not?! Colby Logan  (Colby and the Masons) jammed on stage while brides indulged in delicious sliders (mini burgers), ahi tuna, lemon drop martinis, and Myla Concepts’ cake pops kept everyone coming back for more.  As always, Smilebooth was a hit with both brides and The Wedding Party Studio staff.

The wow-factors of the night were the inspiring seasonal tablescapes around the ballroom. Suite 206 and BBJ Linens provided the beautiful backdrops for the inspiring arrangements created by Rufus Felix and Nest Floral Studio. The Event Messenger designed the wonderful collection or menus, place cards and other paper items to compliment each tablescape.  Ducky Bob’s contributed all of the great chivary chair rentals.

Overall, the event was a huge success.  Many thanks to Kathie Seeley with Grand Events who coordinated this fabulous soiree and made sure that everything ran smoothly.  BRAVO KATHIE!
