07 Feb Gorgeous & Casual Picnic Wedding
David Tutera has done it again. Every Sunday night fans tune in to see what incredible wedding David will create this week. On his show, My Fair Wedding, David swoops in to help brides in need of direction, guidance and the vision to carry out the ideal wedding they have dreamed about. In the episode entitled “Picnic Wedding Bride” (watch the full episode on Sunday on WEtv or download it on iTunes), David took a bride’s vision of a backyard BBQ reception and turned it into a casual yet gorgeous red and white affair. Look at the stunning cloths, provided by Cloth Connection, and welcoming atmosphere created by simple touches everywhere.
From the color scheme, to the little pieces of home scattered throughout, there is not a guest that could feel unwelcome at this modern and casual outdoor reception. Each aspect can easily be converted into a DIY wedding – lanterns from the local craft store, a barrel of apples from the local farmer, red and white checkered cloths from your grandma’s box, and flowers from a local florist can serve as the basis for a comfortable and fun reception. The cozy and fresh feeling of this reception didn’t stop at the decor, a traditional wedding buffet transformed into a comfort food heaven complete with mini-cheesburger sliders, paper cones housing french fries and mac n cheese bites. For the bride looking to get in touch with a playful side who loves the outdoors and comfort of her backyard filled with friends and family, a picnic themed wedding reception proves to be a wonderful solution.
